*1. Height from road surface to fender arch. *2. Height at factory is the data tested at HKS with the setting of Full Kit. (HKS' recommended setting.) *3. Adjustable range (However, the lowest value may not be road legal. Even within the adjustable range, car body, arm etc. may contact. In such case, it will be hard to drive. Damper oil leakage or any other problems caused by low ride height setting from the factory setting will void the warranty of the product.) *4. Drivable range that there is no contact of car body or arms etc. (However, change of tire/wheel size may cause a problem.) Caution). Actual data depends on each vehicle. |

Point |
・We have set it up mainly for sporty high-grip radial tires, but still it will have a comfortable ride for the city drive. It’s not very solid but flexible enough to have a good control. ・Both front and rear used the pillow upper, and adjustable front camber. Please adjust best setting for sport drive or check by how the tires wear out. ・We could have less weight by changing the both front and rear bracket to aluminum, same as the MAX IV GT which was steel originally. ・Our new design of needle which was first developed for MAX IV GT is used here too. It will improve ride comfort and control by having better performance of damping force in a low RPM. ・The high spring rate with helper spring will have enough stroke in the stretching side. They will have better road tracking, stability in an extreme situation and effective traction for the start. ・We recommend dial settings of F15 R15 for sport drive. If you like firm feeling, you can drive street as same as sport drive. But if you want more mild feeling, please try F25 and R40. ・We set at a lower vehicle height in rear at the fender. This is the best setting in means of handling and balance. The low height rate compared to stock setting is the same. ・If you want to raise the vehicle height from factory setting, first raise the ride-height spring rate then extend the total length. If you extend the total length first, the upper arm and damper might interfere with each other. ・Rear ride-height and arm are very close to each other, so they could easier interfere with each other. Therefore you can only lower 3mm of the factory setting. |
