Tein Street Basis Z Coilovers for Mazda RX-8

The Street Basis damper is an evolution of the popular Tein Basic coilover, developed to provide a sporty ride and aggressive stance. The shortened shell case design provides optimum damper stroke at lower than standard vehicle ride height. Ride height is adjustable via the ZT coated threaded sleeve and spring seats. Updated internal components and external coatings increase durability and product life. Street Basis dampers are great for daily and spirited use for all types of drivers. Made in Japan under strict quality control standards and developed by highly trained suspension engineers. Damping adjustment is not available with Tein Street Basis. They also use OEM topmounts and do not allow camber adjustment. Using Japanese manufacturing, Tein products give unparalleled quality, high reliability and a long lifetime.

Adjustability

• Set the ride height Front between -0mm down to -30MM (Setting out of the box -30mm)
• Set the ride height Rear between -0mm down to -20mm (Setting out of the box -20mm)
• Use the stock topmounts
• Front spring is 6.0kg
