Extreme 14 hoses are made from premium silicone compound which are mixed with the colour pigments in-house, they also calendar all their own materials which means they have complete control of the process from start to finish. Extreme 14's fabric is sourced in the UK to ensure consistent quality and they use 3-5 plies of this in every hose depending on the bore size. This gives their hoses a burst pressure of up to 26 bar depending on the bore size and number of plies.

Extreme 14 have a strict final inspection process to check every hose they make and a large range of test equipment. They can carry out burst testing, heat ageing, vibration and pressure cycle testing.

The hoses are Euro 6 compliant which means they are manufactured to cope with the much higher temperatures and pressures found in these engines. Many other motorsport silicone hoses aren’t Euro 6 compliant but Extreme14 silicone hoses do meet the quality standards to pass Euro 6.
