The most basic versio; Stoptech's Touring Big Brake Kit, already offers about 5 meters less stopping distance, reached using Stoptech's 328x25mm slotted one-piece sport brake discs, 4 piston brake caliper, stainless steel brake lines ant Stoptech's Sport Performance brake pads.
A test over 10 braking actions, decelerating from 100km/h to 0km/h of two VW Golf MK7 GTi's, each one with KW coilovers, 19" aluminium wheels and equal tires, in head-to-head record. One with the OEM VW GTi Performance brakes, the other one with the Stoptech Touring Big brake Kit, has shown the following measuring results as presented in the following overview for wet and dry lane:
Averaged on wet lane: -2.90 meters less!
Averaged on dry lane: - 5.51 meters less!

StopTech Big Brake Kits have been awarded a Teilgutachten. The complete kit is certified to run on a particular application, so customers do not need to pay for further testing with the TÜV agency.
